Produced from the oldest Merlot vines on the estate. The wine is allowed to macerate in steel tanks for three to five weeks before being aged in oak barrels for 12 months; a third of which are new, a third are one year old and the final third are two years old.
This has real depth and complexity with a style and intensity of fruit close to that of Pomerol whose vineyards are close-by.
